Somali-Led. Community-Rooted. Humanitarian-Driven.
About SRNNA
WHO WE ARE
The Somali Relief Network of North America (SRNNA) is a Somali-led humanitarian charity based in Canada. We provide vital aid to families in Somalia facing drought, poverty, and displacement. At the same time, we work to uplift Somali families across Canada through community support and outreach.
Our team understands the realities of the people we serve. Because of this, our programs are culturally informed, needs-driven, and built on long-standing trust within the Somali community.
OUR VISION
To be recognized and respected as a local organization that continues to nurture Somalia communities that are environmentally conscious, literate, healthy, economically self-reliant, and peaceful.
OUR MISSION
The Somali Relief Network of North America (SRNNA) is a non-governmental organization that strives to bring about positive changes in communities through environmental conservation, provision of quality education and creation of awareness rising on health issues.
OUR HISTORY
Founded in 1993 by Somali professionals and volunteers in North America, SRNNA began as a small community effort to help families in Somalia facing conflict, drought, and economic hardship. Over the past three decades, we have grown into a respected Somali humanitarian organization.
Today, SRNNA operates with trained staff across several departments and partners with trusted organizations in Somalia and Canada. Together, we focus on building lasting community resilience and creating meaningful change.
